1. AIDS – 25 million cases from the year 1981 to present –

AIDS is a mix of complications hat include the infections. It is actually a progressive damage of the immune system of the body. This is caused by HIV. AIDS has been declared as a pandemic. This is called the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and the individual is subjected to the opportunistic infections and tumors. The prime transmitters of the infection are blood, semen, vaginal fluid, preseminal fluid and breast milk.

2. Influenza-

This is the second most deadly disease that leads to death of 36ooo people annually. This is also called flu and is the highly infectious disease caused by the influenza virus. The transmission of this disease happens through air and it also happens through the physical contact
3.Spanish flu –

This is considered the third deadliest disease in the world and from the year 1918 to 1919 alone, there were as many as 100 million deaths. This is termed as the category 5 flu pandemic and its principle impact is the fu virus strain A th the subtype H1N1.
4. Bubonic plague –

This is the most fatal disease and it has led to the death of 250 million people. The main outbreak of the disease was caused by fleas and rodents. These were infected with Xenopsylla cheopsis. When the affected rodent bit the humans, they were affected.
5. Malaria –

Malaria is an infection disease which is victor borne. The principle caused of the disease is the protozoan parasites. It is actually a common disease in the sub tropican belts and other sub regions.
6. Eloba – one lac sixty thousand deaths since the year 2000

This was first isolated in the year 1976. The dual outbreaks happened in two countries namely Zaire and Sudan. The disease is called zoonotic because it affects both the apes as well as the humans.
7. Cholera –

It is a deadly disease that has lead to 12000 deaths from the year 1991. This is a serious diarrheal ailment and the principle cause is the vibrio cholera. The principle mode of transmission is through the contaminated food and water. Cholera is an infection of small intestine. The first cholera vaccine was developed in the year 1900 by the Russian born bacteriologist waldemar hafkine. Italian scientist filippo had isolated it 45 years before.
